David Rosenheim

JamBase, CEO

David Rosenheim brings a lifelong passion for music, Internet technology and the environment to JamBase, where he has served as CEO since 2006. As CEO of JamBase, Rosenheim is responsible for driving the company's mission to become the definitive source and destination for live music information and community. Pursuing his musical aspirations, Rosenheim began his career as a touring and recording musician, leading the critically acclaimed bands Hugh and The Weather Band.

After experiencing first-hand the hardships of promoting independent music, in 1997 Rosenheim founded his first Internet music enterprise, www.inkblotmagazine.com, in order to create a barrier-free, online venue for music promotion. He went on to found Musicfans- a network of 120 of the largest artist fan sites, totaling more than 3 million users.

Rosenheim has also held positions as a strategy consultant for GOOD Magazine, Participant Productions (Syriana, An Inconvenient Truth) and CleanStar Energy (biofuels). He earned an MBA with distinction from Oxford University.
