David Katznelson is a music industry veteran of twenty-three years having gone from being a vice president of A&R at Warner Bros. (where he worked with The Flaming Lip, The Boredoms, Mudhoney, Nick Cave, Texas Tornados, Boredoms) to the head of an Independent Label Group, The Birdman Recording Group, Inc. which includes a publishing company, a Consulting practice, and a label that releases the likes of Howlin Rain, The Gris Gris, The Warlocks, Modey Lemon, Spectrum, Otha Turner, anon. Katznelson is also involved in Harte Recordings, Reboot Stereophonic, Progressive Jewish Alliance, and The San Francisco Appreciation Society. In his free time he likes to stare at the Bison in Golden Gate Park.
